Take The challenge. Fill a bowl. Feed the hungry.
Join us in helping to feed hungry children and families.

One in six adults and one in four children lack access to enough safe, nutritious, and socially acceptable food for a healthy and productive life. Whiddon Glass, ACL Home Inspections, and Sellers in Tallahassee have teamed up with businesses and food-assistance charities across Tallahassee to challenge each of us. They are asking us to step up and help feed hungry families in our community during this time of year.
Our 2025 TFC campaign is spotlighting the work of ECHO that began in 1981 with a small team of people producing and distributing shelf-stable, flavorful, nutritious meals to those at risk for hunger in our community.
Today, ECHO offers professional services through programs providing emergency relief and family sustainability to impoverished Leon County residents, and the homeless. ECHO’s clients are served through 4 programs: Emergency Resources, Family Services, Housing Assistance, and The Furniture Bank of Tallahassee,. With a small staff and a large volunteer base, ECHO’s programs are designed to assist people in their efforts to become independent, productive, and stable. The people of ECHO believe that encouragement, planning, and hope will be the impetus for self-sufficiency and lasting change among those who live under the burden of poverty.

Fill A Bowl
Twenty-seven percent of Leon County residents live at or below the poverty level. One-third of the people facing hunger in our community are children. Add to that the fact that during the months of May and June, food supplies grow dangerously low among Tallahassee food-assistance charities when demand is up and donations are low.
